Hemant Phatak
Director Hemant has been associated with various business such as software, plastics, renewable energy and food manufacturing since his post-graduation in textile technology in 1988. Driven by his rich experience of 30+ years in the field of disaster relief and his knowledge of therapeutic food manufacturing puts him in a unique position where he understands the dire urgency in which an individual struck by disaster needs help and also understands what it takes to provide that help. He founded Soma Nutrition in 2015 & since, has successfully supplied > 1400 metric tons of therapeutic foods to UN Organizations. At Lumn Labs, Hemant is at the helm of affairs for strategic, commercial and developmental actions. His vision is to create a strong value chain, based on commitments to deliver quality & value for money.
Tejas Phatak
Managing Director
With a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering from Rutgers-NJ, Tejas is an experienced product development scientist and has experience working for companies such as Lannett & Aurolife pharma in the United States. He has also gained a rich 6+ years of experience working at Soma Nutrition Labs Pvt Ltd as a Technical Director.
Tejas founded Lumn Labs with a vision to construct a state-of-art facility capable of manufacturing the highest quality therapeutic food products. His mission is to guarantee production capacity that meets current and future needs. He is at the helm of innovation, development & implementation at Lumn Labs. He leads an exceptional, experienced team of employees who are constantly working to respond to emergencies & being able to offer products of the future whilst constantly on a lookout for industrial optimisation.
