PROVIKA-RUTF is specially designed to treat Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) in children under the age of 5.
It’s a high calorie, peanut-based paste, heavily fortified with a vitamins & minerals premix. It is an easy & ready to eat product which makes it possible to provide treatment at home.
1 box = treatment for 1 child.
Due to the vulnerable condition of a severely malnourished child, Provika-RUTF is recommended to be prescribed & consumed under medical supervision.
Breastfeeding immediately after birth, exclusively for the first 6 months, is recommended for at least 24 months.
Provika RUTF is also suitable for adults suffering from severe acute malnutrition. However, it does not replace a varied and nutritious diet.
